What size bicycle is it suitable for?
The bike stand will FIT ALMOST ALL BIKES range from 20″ – 24″ Kids Bikes, 25″ TO 27″ MOUNTAIN BIKES, 650C -700C ROAD BIKES, EXCEPT those bikes with the tires more than 2.4″ in width.
What is the weight of the rack?
The bike rack weight is 8.3 lb.
Is this vertical bike rack adjustable?
Yes … adjustable to your bike size
Is it safe to do light bike repairs while the bike is on the arms?
No. The bike rack but it is top heavy and I would remove the bike out of the rack if I was going to do any work on the bike even light repairs.
Will it work for a beach cruiser with a fender?
Will work as long as the tires are not the fat types it will fit.
Do we need any tools to install the bike rack?
No, it comes with an allen wrench however, you might want to have an adjustable wrench on hand.
What's the maximum weight load ?
Maximum weight load 66lb or 30kg
Can you explain what is meant by 20"-27"? What am I measuring?
That is the size of your bike. 20 is usually a kids bike. 27inch is typical adult sized bike
Will this work on carpet as well?
Yes, it keeps a good balance.
While bike is stored vertically is the weight of the rear tire?
When the rear tire is placed in the mount, the tire is raised off the floor, but the weight is on the rear tire distributed evenly over 3 points. There will not be any rubber deformation (keep tires properly inflated while in storage and of course check air pressure whenever you go out to ride)
